Stages, a survey of Barbara Kasten’s 40-year artistic output at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia is a sight to behold. Expertly curated by Alex Klein, the exhibition is brilliantly paced and is neither sequential nor chronological, which speaks to the overall coherence of Barbara’s practice through the decades. If you happen to be back East, a visit to Philadelphia is strongly encouraged. More information about the exhibition may be found here.
