We are deeply pleased to announce Christina Fernandez will have her first survey exhibition at the California Museum of Photography, currently scheduled for Sept. 10, 2022 – Feb. 5, 2023.
Through the award of the 2020 Andy Warhol Foundation Grant, the California Museum of Photography at UC Riverside Arts will feature recognized works such as Maria’s Great Expedition (1995-96) and Lavanderia (2002) along with other series not recently exhibited like Manuela S-T-I-T-C-H-E-D (1996), Untitled, Multiple Exposures (1999) and Space Available (2004). An extensive survey catalog will accompany the exhibition published in conjunction with the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center.
