The first institutional survey of Ursula Schulz-Dornburg’s career has opened at the Städel Museum in Frankfurt, Germany. Curated by Dr. Martin Engler, the exhibition features over 200 photographs from Schulz-Dornburg’s prolific 40-year career. The exhibition highlights the artist’s demonstrated interest in cultural in-between-ness and its appearance in sites all over the Near East, Asia, and Europe. Congratulations to the artist!
A catalogue by MACK with multiple essays, interviews, and illustrations has been published in conjunction with the exhibition. It is available from the gallery in English or the publisher in English and German.
